The Mission of Pickens County Veterans Memorial Park Association, Inc. is to pay tribute to veterans who fought and will continue to fight for our Country and our freedoms.

The Pickens County Veterans Memorial Park Association, Inc. is in the planning stages of a memorial park. As part of our work, we will honor all those who gave their lives in combat by having their names etched in stone.

We are a 501(c3) Association consisting of veterans and citizens with the courage and heart to embark on this journey to set in motion the construction and continuation of this park to honor and preserve those who have “signed the blank check, up to and including their lives,” “to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.”

This Association is created through a consolidated effort of the citizens of Pickens County, GA. Each individual involved is dedicated by their appreciation for ALL veterans of all conflicts in which the United States of America has participated.

This Memorial will be an ongoing effort, which means as there are conflicts there will be more veterans to be honored.
