Detachment of Vermont 20th-anniversary Dodge House donation

Arlington, VT

On this past Veterans Day in 2018, the Sons of The American Legion Detachment of Vermont presented its 20th annual donation to the Dodge House in Rutland, Vt.
The Dodge House provides transitional housing for veterans, both men and women, who are experiencing homelessness. The Dodge House offers a safe place where veterans can rebuild their lives.
The goal of the Dodge House is to provide veterans who are experiencing homelessness with a specific program that is tailored to meet their needs and is mutually agreed upon by the resident, the staff and the referral source for the veteran. Veterans are encouraged to pursue their wellness, vocational, educational and personal goal to the very best of their ability.
The Detachment of Vermont has been supporting the Dodge House program since 1998. This 20th-anniversary donation was in the amount of $13,550!
