John J. Morris Post 62 in Peoria, Arizona, apparently has the only Junior Rifle Team in Arizona! The team is currently a little smaller than last year, but they still field a team at each competition. The team averages under 14 years of age. Since it is the only American Legion team in Arizona, they have to go to competitions against high school JROTC teams! While our youngsters do not win the tournaments around the state, they always beat a few teams at the competition. Tom McClain and Rod Tiner are the trainers/coaches/leaders.
