My post is in desperate need

Gouldsboro American Legion Post 274 - Gouldsboro, PA

The Gouldsboro American Legion is the pillar of our very small town, which is technically a village. We had a commander who lacked integrity. Many issues were not dealt with or taken care of. This is my second year as commander, and we have pulled ourselves up from the brink of closure. I've now run into another issue, and we are once again on the brink of closure. Our boiler broke and we were about to replace it with the money we had and some we raised, but now need around 4k more to get it installed as well as a whole new roof. We currently have no hot water or heat and our roof leaks in multiple places including in our office.
My post is a second home to me. They were a place for me to go when I would come home on leave. When I left the Navy, they helped me out with everything I needed and gave me a college scholarship. We helped members pay their bills and gave people food when needed. We offer many free meals and just a clean, warm place for members and vets in our town to come to spend their time. Many of our vets are older and alone and come in daily for company. I would hate for us to close.
