As COVID-19 had the world still for two years, Metropolitan Post 581 was proud to have sponsored their Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament at the Waterview Golf Club in Rowlett, Texas, less than one month ago.

Post 581 has hosted a Gold Star Mothers & Families Luncheon for more than 11 years because they know these families have made a true sacrifice for our country with the fact that their loved one(s) made the ultimate sacrifice while in the line of duty.

The tournament was a complete success and Commander Dupree, the officers and members of Metropolitan Post 581 are thankful for the support from the DFW golf community and look forward to honoring Gold Star Mothers and Families at their annual luncheon in September at Belo Mansion.
