On Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023, members of the Cape Fear Fellas performed a pinning for a Navy veteran at the Wilmington Care Center. The veteran was presented with a Veterans Service Flag pin and certificates of thanks. His wife and other family members were present and were very grateful for the honor given to their veteran.

On Thursday, Aug. 3, members of the group presented a Life Care Service Flag pin to a veteran and his family. John E. Jacobs American Legion Post 68 and other local veterans volunteer to remember and honor our local veterans. The pin and certificates are presented to the veteran to thank them and to honor their service in the armed services of the United States.
