Legionnaires recognized during the USAG Humphreys ACS 2024 Volunteer of the Year Reception

Legionnaires Daniel Melton and Charles Woods (former commander) of Paul E. Finn Memorial American Legion Post 37, South Korea, were recognized during the USAG Humphreys ACS 2024 Volunteer of the Year Reception on April 16, 2024. Mr. Melton was selected as the Military Retiree Volunteer of the Year 2024 for the Camp Humphreys Area, South Korea. Mr. Melton spent countless hours repairing and refurbishing abandoned bicycles left in Camp Humphreys. The refurbished bicycles were given to soldiers that needed transportation for free. Mr. Milton also volunteered his time with the Camp Humphreys’ USO. Mr. Woods was recognized with a Certificate of Achievement for his volunteer efforts. Mr. Woods assisted countless surviving spouses with Social Security, VA benefits, Survivor Benefit Program, ID cards, etc. Mr. Woods also volunteered his time with the Camp Humphreys’ USO.
