On the Saturday morning of Oct. 1, 2022, American Legion Allen "Pop" Reeves Post 123 sponsored their second feeding program for the Children’s Better Life Feeding Program in the Northville Resettlement Area, Cutud, Angeles City. Philippines. This program is run by Milo Hernandez and Belle Damasco. Post 123 Commander Chuck Conners, with the assistance of Post Adjutant/2nd Vice Commander Larry Wade, helped feed 240 mostly kids a filling breakfast of chicken sopas (a type of Philippine soup with noodles, vegetables and meat) with a hardboiled egg, pandasol, banana and a juice drink. Post 123 will be sponsoring a special meal this December and provide a gift of slippers for the children; many walk around in their bare feet
