I was pleased that our national commander re-upped on the 100 Miles for Hope program. I continued the walk/jog 5K and 10K method to achieve the target number of miles, which were completed June 27, 2021, and also put time and miles beyond 'Nam service. I had planned to walk up and down the roadway of Mt. Scott in the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge on June 26 for the last section, but in-climate weather closed that option. I did a 10K in Anadarko Randlett Park, dodging flood waters for 100 minutes, in lieu the next day. Happy to have earned the medal that came with the registration packet.
