World War II Army nurse

My mother was a Army nurse during World War II. She was stationed in Saipan and Honolulu. The latter is where she met my father, a enlisted soldier.
He was in a plane crash while en route to a Army swim meet. She was his nurse.
She did not talk too much about her career as a Army nurse. She did say she saw and treated alot of burns.
I truly wish I would have followed in her footsteps.
