Morton-Richardson Post 128 of Richland, Ga., spent the traditional - 30 May - Memorial Day placing flags on the graves of veterans in a total of seven cemeteries in three counties that make up its service area. In addition, on the previous Sunday, they presented the "Thirteen Folds" flag-folding ceremony as invited guests of the Preston Baptist Church in Preston, Ga. In return, the Baptist Youth joined in placing flags in the principal cemetery in their community. The annual observance of 30 May as the date for honoring our veterans has now reached six years with no plans to change in the future.
