My daughter Erica graduated from Avon (Conn.) High School in 1995. A fellow graduate and friend of my daughter, Amy Toyon (also from Avon), went on to college and eventually landed a great job in Boston. She had just started and she or her fellow employee were needed in the New York ... you guessed it ... Twin Towers on 9/11. Amy "won" the toss and consequently perished in the attack. She was engaged and was just getting started with a promising career.
