Stephen Cuoco, the Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 224 which is supported by our post, completed his Eagle Project. He installed a flag pole in the Southwest Ranches Equestrian Park where the troop meets. The Flag Raising Ceremony took place on Thursday, June 14th (Flag Day) at 5:30 pm with the color guard from the troop. In attendance at this event were the Post Adjutant Joe Motes, Service Officer Ray Aguiar, and Public Relations Officer/Boy Scout Chair Yolanda Santos. Also in attendance were the Mayor of SW Ranches, Jeff Nelson and several city commissioners. Stephen Cuoco is directly to my right, front row, in the photo. Yolanda Santos
