Women Veterans of SW Missouri American Legion Post 1214 in Springfield presented Honor Flight of the Ozarks with a check for $500 in support of their program. This amount represented a portion of the post's Trivia Night proceeds and was awarded in December 2022 to the group.

In December 2013, Honor Flight of the Ozarks became the 133rd regional hub in the national Honor Flight Network. Their board members and volunteers are honored and committed to providing flights to Washington, D.C., for thousands of deserving veterans in Southwest Missouri.
