On April 6, John J. Morris Post 62 honored the Sunny Bowl Barber Shop with their first Patriotism award. This new award is for businesses not in Peoria that show military support and honor our veterans. Donna, the barber/stylist, said she enjoys supporting veterans. In fact, in November she is giving free haircuts to veterans the day before Veterans Day so they can all look their best! She is a sole proprietor, so any give always affects her bottom line. We salute Donna and the Sunny Bowl Barber Shop for their support of veterans and for their patriotic attitude.
