On July 16, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) honored Jay Farren with the Patriotism award. Jay, the general manager of Chili's in Laveen, Ariz., has donated gift cards for the Stars of 62 awards for three years while at various Chili's restaurants. The recent presentation had to be delayed a week because Jay went to Texas to see his son who just returned from overseas deployment - Army. The entire crowd applauded a proud father and a longtime supporter of The American Legion. He has been a huge supporter of the community for decades and we salute him. Congrats, Jay, on all you do for the Legion and your community.
