Suffolk County, LI, N.Y., presented to John Fils-Aime, a member of the FDNY, the Law & Order and First Responders Award for his courageous actions in saving the lives of a 13-year-old boy and his father.

Congratulations to John and to his son, Bradley, who quickly alerted his father to the situation unfolding and played an important role in the rescue. Suffolk County commends both for their courage, quick thinking and willingness to help others in a time of need.
