On Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025, Boy Scout Ian Smith presented his local post with a beautiful box to be used for flag storage until they can be ceremonially retired. Ian is a Scout with Boy Scout Troop 217, Alvarado, Texas, and built this box as his Eagle Scout project. Truitt Bishop Post 426 of Alvarado is honored to have this beautiful box to be used at the post.
