A touching and honorable ceremony for these veterans.

John J. Morris Post 62 helps lay 19 veterans, two spouses to proper resting place

Peoria, AZ

On Jan. 21, the John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) Riders and Honor Guard worked with the Missing In America Project to get the remains of 19 veterans and two spouses put to rest with full military honors. These are unclaimed veteran remains in funeral homes. This happens multiple times a year, when these veterans get proper rest in a veteran cemetery. A huge group of Riders supported the event, and our honor guard helped provided the colors. Some of the stories Mark Wells, Post 62 member and coordinator for the state MIAP, tells can break your heart. Arizona National Executive Committeeman Andy Jaime was the speaker at the event. God rest in post everlasting for these veterans.
