On March 19, the John J. Morris Post 62 Riders (Peoria, Ariz.) were part of the escort to the cemetery for service for our past commander Marge Ahrens. The lead escort was the Patriot Guard, who do an amazing precision job of stopping traffic. There were also about 20 Legion Riders from 62. At the cemetery, the Luke AFB Honor Guard handled the ceremony along with taps. There were other members present from the Post 62 Legion, SALand Auxiliary. Saying goodbye to a loved past commander made it a very emotional event. We can only say thank you to the Patriot Guard Riders, the 62 Legion Riders, the Luke AFB Honor Guard and everyone else who attended and was involved. In April there will be a celebration of life at Post 62 for her.
