No stranger to making friends, the Easter Bunny made an appearance to some wonderful children who were at Post 109 in Rutherford, N.J. The children had been busy with the Auxiliary with activities in the hall when someone noticed the Easter Bunny was outside hiding Easter eggs! Well, this turned into an all-out Easter egg hunt! Children, parents, Bunny, all hunting eggs and filling baskets! Songs and laughter filled the air. The Easter Bunny took time out to pose for pictures with the kids before hopping off to his next spot. But he didn’t go quietly; he was “egging” cars on to honk their horns as he hopped away.
All accounts say a great time was had by everyone.
