The American Legion Auxiliary of the Philippines held their 8th Annual District Convention on May 30, 2026, at Clark CU Hotel, Angeles City. Convention Chairwoman Cary Ann Punsaian began with opening remarks. District President CC Mebane welcomed all the attendees. Several department officers provided speeches during the convention. A past American Legion Department of the Philippines commander and current commander of the Sons of The American Legion detachment was the keynote speaker. Department 2nd Vice Commander/Department Service Officer Michael Booth and Department Public Affairs Officer/Post 38 Historian Donald Wong provided speeches during the convention. Michael Napsey, the department NECman/Post 38 adjutant provided a special message. All speeches and messages praised and gave thanks to the members of the Philippines Auxiliary for their work in their communities with their activities and programs in support of veterans and family. Commending the Auxiliary members guided by the motto “Service Not Self” to continue their path.
Also in attendance were members of the Amerasia Association Pampanaga Incorporiated.
Convention attendees were entertained with songs by Chona Willis, Dina Barritta, Estephan Coleman, Punsaian, Sheril Gagala and Reese Jonann Ruiz. The Kuracha Dance was also performed.
