On Oct. 24, 2026, Post 66 and Auxiliary Unit 66 packed 150 bags of rice, canned goods and dried food for distribution to people affected by the Oct. 15–16 fire in Davao City’s Agdao District. The massive structural fire began late Thursday afternoon, Oct. 15, and burned for more than eight hours into the next morning. It reached the high-level Task Force Alpha alarm status, destroyed hundreds of homes and displaced an estimated 1,000 families or left them homeless. No casualties were initially reported. The City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) immediately deployed personnel to compile a master list of affected residents and set up temporary evacuation shelters.
Kudos to Post 66 and Unit 66!
