Post 255 had a custom stair lift installed this last summer, to serve members and the public.
The lift allows those unable to use the stairs for various meetings and events to access the Bahma Room upstairs at the Legion.
Legion members worked with Mark Bliss, owner of Minnesota Mobility Systems, Inc., to determine the proper selection of stair lift. The American Legion thanked the individuals, organizations, and anonymous givers for monetary gifts; the volunteers who renovated the stairway and offered other help; Bliss for his work selecting the stair lift; and Mike Hagen and employees of West Central Lift and Elevator Works of Minnesota, who installed the stair lift.
