I never had the opportunity to serve. I was going to enlist in the Navy right out of high school but was in a car wreck where I broke my back. I was in a body cast for nine months.
But my grandfather and my father were both in the Navy, and a lot of my relatives were in the service as well. I will never forget the sacrifice veterans have made for me and my family and basically everyone in the USA to keep our freedom.
