On March 15 and 25, the John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) Legion Riders spent close to eight hours in training. The class, entitled Road Guardians Accident Scene Management, taught all types of safety and aid instruction. ER trauma nurse Teresa Martinez and her husband, Benjamin, were the instructors. Teresa, rider name Trauma Mama, has been teaching this class for 20 years. Watching the class takes your breath away and you have to smile at all the knowledge being given. Our Legion Riders are already scheduling an advanced class in the fall! That alone tells you how much it meant to all of them. A salute to the instructors and our Riders to their commitment to safety and knowledge.
