On April 2, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) continued working with the Ira H. Hayes Post 84 (Sacaton, Ariz.) with another meeting. Plans were continued on the Sept. 1 Veteran of the Month. Samples of April Veteran of the Month event flyers and pictures were distributed, along with a 62 license plate and 62 Legion Riders chips. Then 2nd Vice Commander Larry Tank made a presentation from Post 62, 62 Honor Guard and several individuals from Post 62. It was a donation of $2,750 toward their Honor Walk of 24 Pima Indian KIA. They shared a diagram of what the Honor Walk will look like. Veterans supporting veterans. Teamwork is always the way to accomplish things.
