Honolulu, HI

HONOLULU, HI — On April 18, 2026, the spirit of community and contagious frivolity filled the halls of The Plaza Assisted Living at Waikiki as members of the American Legion Family hosted a lively game of bingo for the residents.

Volunteers Barrett Emenheiser, Ron Nelson, Rick and Mrs. Saltzman, along with CR Drumheller, organized and ran the engaging event at the facility, located at 1812 Kalākaua Ave.

The afternoon was marked by excitement, laughter and a multitude of winners. The volunteers reported having a wonderful time, largely because the enthusiasm of the residents was truly infectious. The joyous atmosphere resonated with everyone involved, proving that a simple, well-organized community event can bring immense happiness and connection.
