Christmas dinner at Naples (Maine) Post 155

Naples, ME

I would like to extend the gratitude of the many utility workers helping out in Maine after two major back-to-back storms knocked out power to thousands of Maine residents.
American Legion Post 155, Naples, Maine, opened their doors and provided a Christmas dinner to utility workers who came from around the country to support restoration efforts.
I met utility workers from Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee, the Carolinas, New York and Canada. While I did not attend the dinner, the generosity of the Legion members was marked with overwhelming gratitude in the conversations I heard from those who did attend. This generous act of kindness made folks feel a little closer to home during their holiday away from friends and family. BTW - the food was awesome!

Thank you!
