In summer 2021, new Texas ALR Adviser Mark Meysembourg wanted a way to help chapters recruit, help with ALR fundraising throughout the state, enable all chapters to communicate/relay info to one another, and give more visibility to ALR throughout the state - not only within The American Legion but also with the public.

in August 2021, the TexasALR.org website went live and in January 2022 became officially linked on the TxLegion.org website.
There is a plethora of information on the Texas ALR website including leadership, events, chapters and resources for all chapters and members to utilize. This will also enable riders from other states to be able to look up local chapters ahead of time when traveling through/visiting areas in Texas.
