Post 690 (Palatine, Ill.) Legionnaires directly contacted over 200 members of the post as part of a Holiday Veteran Buddy Check program. Volunteer Legionnaires checked in with members to see if they needed support from Post 690 and shared upcoming post events. Members who responded were very pleased that the post volunteers had called to check up on them. Thank you to all the Legion volunteers who came out, and to our Auxiliary for coming out to support.
