On Nov. 8, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) honored veterans at a Sun City veterans softball game. The Honor Guard and Riders from the post presented the flags to our country, state, POW and all branches of service (including the Space Force) on the baseball field. There was a free meal for all involved in the event along with drawings, softball and the colors presentation. A gentleman played the bugle with the theme song to each of the branches; he was talented. The Riders impressed all when dozens of bikes roared in. The Honor Guard had all the flags lined up in order and gave quick instructions to the Riders who helped present them. Sans the Space Force, all the other branches were there. It was moving and the crowd went wild (as they say) as each branch was called out. A salute to everyone involved in putting the event together.
