Dover, Tenn., Post 72 awards its first scholarship to a Stewart County High School student

On April 22, 2024, the first ever Douglas M. Lyons, Dover Post 72 Scholarship Award was presented to Riley Dominique of Stewart County High School during the Black and Gold Awards Ceremony. A $50 Visa gift card was also provided. The award was presented to Riley "in recognition of outstanding achievement while attending Stewart County High School."

May you continue your journey through life, remembering your preparation ensures you will be ready to overcome any challenges which lie ahead. These accomplishments reflect great credit upon you, your family and the Stewart County High School."

The award was presented by Finance Officer and Scholarship Chair, Lisa Polarek (left) and Post 72 Commander, Fred Shaw (right).
