In October 2020 a committee of five members of American Legion Post 110 began planning for a veterans memorial in New Lisbon. It took off in a big way with the help of Dana White of Lacrosse Monument Co. Together a plan was organized and a fundraising campaign began. Our 312 generous donors raised $120,000 and the project was completed this spring. A dedication ceremony on Memorial Day 2022 was held to honor all New Lisbon-area veterans both living and deceased. Currently 780 are listed, and names will be added in the future.
