On Feb. 1, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) honored Air Force veteran Roger Fritzen as Veteran of the Month. His flag will fly over the post this month and then be returned to his wife. He went to Vietnam following training school. He suffered the rest of his life following Agent Orange exposure. VA suggested he leave the Midwest for the Arizona climate; they complied and moved to Sun City. His family was the focus of his life, especially his six grandchildren.
