The American Legion Band celebrated America’s 250th birthday. The Band performed a pre-parade performance of Fort Wayne, Ind.'s “first ever” Fourth of July Parade. The band played and sang patriotic music. One of the patriotic songs was Irving Berlin’s famous “God Bless America.” The band and singer performed in front of the Allen County Courthouse in downtown Fort Wayne.
