Memorial Day 2025 will see the Man O'War Post 8 (Lexington, Ky.) Honor Guard raising the colors and firing a salute with taps sounded at historic Lexington Cemetery. Commander Gary Atkins invites attendees to Post 8 for a meal afterwards. Honor Guard members also consist of members of the SUVCW, (Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War) Camp #5. They will pay tribute to the veterans in the Union section of the cemetery as well.
