SAN ANTONIO – (Oct. 14, 2025) – During the month of September, High Performance Company of Professional Teambuilding & Leadership Development reached out to the “Mighty” 20th District as part of their support for veterans.
Professional Teambuilding & Leadership is an event company that creates fun, exciting and unforgettable teambuilding and leadership development activities that drive powerful skills, tools, insights and abilities, making teams more effective, efficient and productive.
As part of their teambuilding exercise, more than 50 senior managers and engineers built 20 wheelchairs for donation to Legionnaires and senior citizens.
District 20 Legionnaire and Service Officer Billy Hill attended the event and transported the wheelchairs to Fred Brock American Legion Post 828 for storage and future distribution.
Legion posts within the district coordinated with Hill for distribution of the wheelchairs to those in need.
On Oct. 9, Post 828 distributed wheelchairs to two local nursing homes, Normandy Terrance Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Pecan Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
The Service Officer Committee is a vital component of the “Mighty” 20th District, dedicated to supporting veterans, their families and the broader military community. Through its work, the committee ensures that veterans receive the benefits, resources and recognition they have earned through their service to the nation.
