Feb 3, 2026, was Armed Forces Day, with Day 1 of the two-day event dedicated to veterans services. Sauls-Bridges Post 13 represented The American Legion for Florida on the second floor of the Capitol Rotunda, providing brochures on services, membership and other volunteer opportunities the Legion has available.

Commander Dennis Hall, 2nd Vice Ed Rodriguez, Muriel Kweyama of the Auxiliary and the post historian provided the energy and time to the Legion table. State American Legion reps stopped by to have a chat and helped represent the Legion during the legislative session in Tallahassee.
