During the Super Bowl party held by the DMZ, Legionaries Steve Tharp, Michael Napsey and Daniel Pinkston recruited 14 new members to The American Legion on Feb. 9, 2026. This is the second year the post co-hosted the party with VFW Post 9985 at Camp Bonifas, South Korea, located 400 m (1,300 ft) south of the southern boundary of the Korean Demilitarized (DMZ).
