On March 2, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) honored Famous Dave's with the Americanism award as Peoria Business of the Month. They not only do Veterans Day specials but offer veteran discounts all year long. It even applies to their 10 lunches for under $10. The Publicity Committee meets, discusses nominees and selects who will be honored each month. Winners have been big business and small businesses.
