The Hon. R. Clarke Cooper was selected for the inaugural American Service Fellowship at Harvard University. In the semiquincentennial year of the independence of the United States, the American Service Fellowship was launched to build a cohort from every corner of the country reflecting the strength and patriotism of public servants. Cooper, a combat veteran and former Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs, is one of the 50 inaugural fellows from across the United States who were awarded a full postgraduate scholarship plus a stipend fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
