On May 5, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) honored Father Sarducci's Pizza with their Patriotism Award. The award presented to a business outside Peoria that the publicity/community relations committee feels deserves recognition for the support of veterans and the community. Darrell Clark, owner, is a member of Post 62 and a proud supporter. The store is always ready to support local causes. They recently were awarded Best Pizza award; personally, I think their calzones are amazing. If near Youngtown on the west side of Sun City, plan time to eat at Father Sarducci's Pizza. Behind the restaurant is the Hideaway, which has karaoke, trivia night and live entertainment, plus you can sit out there and order from the restaurant.
