Wm. M. Randolph Post 593 (Converse, Texas) started Memorial Day by participating in the City of Converse Memorial Day Ceremony. The Post 593 commander was the guest speaker. Scout Troop and Pack 593 conducted a flag retirement ceremony, where members of Post 593 participated. That afternoon a Memorial Wall dedication ceremony was held at Post 593. The Converse community was well represented by the mayor, city manager, police chief, fire chief and city council. Also attending were officers of the Department of Texas.
