On Friday June 12, John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) celebrated Women Veterans Recognition Day. The commander gave the 7:00 toast, and then the Auxiliary president and past president asked all women veterans to come forward. Each was given a gift and then a rousing round of applause. As they went back to their seats, everyone was thanking them and giving them a pat on the back. Post 62 has over 100 women veterans in membership! A salute to the ladies!
