John D. Wibby American Legion Auxiliary Unit 86 in Overgaard, Ariz., unveiled the new Veterans Memorial monument at the local Heber-Overgaard Cemetery on Memorial Day. The Auxiliary raised funds for this project by selling memorial plaques to families at the post and in the community who wanted to honor veteran family members and friends. Local businesses also contributed to the building of this monument. A new flag was also hoisted as part of the ceremony, and then over 100 small flags were put on the graves of all veterans in the cemetery.
