Post 44 in Pekin, Ill., celebrated Flag Day by retiring unserviceable flags. The ceremony took place at their post Sunday evening, June 14, 2026. Highlights of the evening included observing the Pause for the Pledge and, of course, retiring several unserviceable flags.
