John J. Morris Post 62 assists with celebration at Immanuel Campus of Care

Peoria, AZ

On July 2, the John J. Morris Post 62 (Peoria, Ariz.) Honor/Color Guard assisted with an event at Immanuel Campus of Care. The center was doing their July 4 celebration early because of schedules. They had several booths set up, live music and food. The color guard marched over from Post 62 to assist in the celebration. The adjutant stepped in for the chaplain and gave an opening prayer. As the flag was lowered, the color guard rifle team fired off guns in salute. The bugler played the music as the flag was lowered and raised back up. As the team was marching away to go back to the post, the audience sent them off with a rousing round of applause. Always great to go out into community and support their events. Well done, team!
