American Legion Post OK28 men's and women's softball teams both won first place at the 2026 Firecracker Softball Classic. The softball tournament took place July 2-7 at the Camp Foster Softball Fields in Okinawa, Japan. The annual island-wide Independence Day weekend tournament featured single round-robin and double-elimination brackets for SOFA and non-SOFA teams, hosted by MCCS Okinawa.
