CASTROVILLE, Texas – (Dec. 4, 2025) – Weiss-Wurzbach American Legion Post 460 held their annual Oratorical Contest at the post’s Legion Hall. Of the two participants, Mikaela Trejo was selected as the winner, earning a $500 scholarship award. She will advance to the District Oratorical Contest to be held on Jan. 10, 2026, in Laredo.
